Booking & Payment
You can book directly through our website from our Cage-Free Shark Diving Tour page or by contacting our customer service team at (808) 829-2203 Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm HST.
We accept credit/debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers.
We require advance payment to secure your spot.
Participants should be at least 5 years old with parental consent. It's advised that anyone with serious health conditions consult with their physician before booking.
Discounts are occasionally available for groups of 4 or more. Contact us for more details.
Shark diving tour photography packages are available to all guests and include high-end, edited underwater photographs of both the guests and the sharks. We do try to have a photographer on board for all tour but to guarantee one, please call to add it to your reservation. Payment for photography packages can be made at the tour location via credit card, cash, or Venmo.
Scheduling
Tours are available daily, weather permitting.
We have morning and afternoon slots. Specific timings can be found on our Cage-Free Shark Diving Tour page.
Each tour lasts approximately 2 hours.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure.
You'll have 48 hours to cancel prior to the date of your tour. Any cancellations or No Shows within the 48 hours cancellation policy will result in your credit card being charged for the full amount of the tour you have reserved.
Yes, rescheduling can be done up to 48 hours prior to the tour, based on availability.
In case of bad weather, we'll offer a rescheduled date or a full refund.
We'll contact you via the email or phone number you provided during booking.
Safety
Yes, Hawaii Adventure Diving has some of the top shark handlers in Hawaii and even the world. They possess an exceptionally high understanding of how to safely handle and redirect sharks as well as understanding their behavior, body language, and how to appropriately behave around them and protect guests in all scenarios.
We have highly trained and certified safety divers, first aid equipment, and communication devices on board.
Yes, our safety divers will be with you throughout the swim.
Always follow the crew's instructions. If you feel uncomfortable, signal a safety diver or crew member immediately.
The Experience
No previous experience is required, just basic swimming skills.
It's typical for sharks to come quite close, but it's always important to respect their space. The high level of experience and understanding by our staff allows us to grant guests a high level of freedom to dive and swim when shark behavior allows for it. In other words, we aim for more immersive interactions opposed to other boats who may be more of just observing, but if you prefer to keep your distance you are more than welcome to do that and our safety divers will ensure that you have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience.

Yes, a comprehensive safety and informational briefing is provided before each dive.
We provide snorkel gear, but you're welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
