About Hawaii Adventure Diving

Chris Parker
Captain & SCUBA Diving Instructor

Hawaii Adventure Diving is a family owned and operated business located in Haleiwa, Hawaii, on Oahu’s beautiful North Shore, and was founded in 2007 by life-long waterman Captain Chris Parker.

Originally from the Florida Keys, Captain Chris has lived his entire life in, on and under the water, starting at the early age of 11 DAYS old! He has fished, dove and captained the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, the Florida Straights, the Bahamas, all of the Hawaiian Islands and has even spent many seasons in Alaska as a professional Salmon Guide and Tender Boat Captain.

Along with his USCG Master Captains license, Capt Chris is also a PADI Certified Scuba Dive Instructor, a CPR and First Aid Instructor as well as a State of Hawaii Certified Underwater Naturalist.

You could not be in safer hands! Captain Chris is an avid shark conservationist and a contributing supporter of the 501c non-profit foundation “Shark Allies”, and has worked safely with the various species of sharks in the North Shore waters almost daily for well over a decade.

Nick Loewenstine
Divemaster

Originally from Cincinnati Ohio, Nick grew up spending much of his time on the lakes, quarries and rivers of the mid west. Nick has been diving for most of his life, taking dive trips all across North America. Having his first encounter with sharks in the water at 15 years of age, Nick has never wanted to do anything else but work with sharks since.

In pursuit of his dream Nick moved from Cincinnati to Australia to complete his Divemaster, Instructor, and Master Scuba Diver Trainer certifications, and spent a lot of dive time working on the Great Barrier Reef. From Australia he moved to Hawaii to continue diving on the North Shore and the surrounding shores of Oahu.

Nick has completed well over 1,000 open water dives, and is also an Emergency First Responder Instructor as well as an FII Level 1 Freediver. His life’s passion is dedicated to protecting and working on the ocean with sharks and all other marine life alike. Nick is also an accomplished underwater photographer.

Drew Fant
Divemaster

Drew moved out to Hawaii from New Mexico in 2012 to attend college at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Zoology. During his studies he became fascinated with sharks and marine conservation, this fascination led him to begin spending all of his free time in the ocean.

With his background of being a swimmer his entire life he picked up freediving very quickly and then went on to start scuba diving to earn his PADI Divemaster certification.

As a conservation effort Drew started using photography as a way to use his photos to document and educate others on all of the marine species that he encounters around the Hawaiian Islands.

Drew is very knowledgeable, friendly and a lot of fun, but most importantly he is an excellent Divemaster and holds your comfort and safety in the water as his top priority.
