About Hawaii Adventure Diving

Nick Loewenstine

Originally from Cincinnati Ohio, Nick grew up spending much of his time on the lakes, quarries and rivers of the mid west. Nick has been diving for most of his life, taking dive trips all across North America. Having his first encounter with sharks in the water at 14 years of age, Nick has never wanted to do anything else but work with sharks since.

In pursuit of his dream Nick moved from Cincinnati to Australia to complete his Divemaster, Instructor, and Master Scuba Diver Trainer certifications, and spent a lot of dive time working on the Great Barrier Reef. From Australia he moved to Hawaii to continue diving on the North Shore and the surrounding shores of Oahu.

Nick has traveled across multiple continents and over a dozen countries encountering 22 different species of sharks, from Great Whites to Tiger Sharks!  Nick is also an accomplished underwater photographer.

Drew Fant

Drew moved out to Hawaii from New Mexico in 2012 to attend college at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies and a minor in Zoology. During his studies he became fascinated with sharks and marine conservation, this fascination led him to begin spending all of his free time in the ocean.

With his background of being a swimmer his entire life he picked up freediving very quickly and then went on to start scuba diving to earn his PADI Divemaster certification.

As a conservation effort Drew started using photography as a way to use his photos to document and educate others on all of the marine species that he encounters around the Hawaiian Islands.

Drew is very knowledgeable, friendly and a lot of fun, but most importantly he is an excellent Divemaster and holds your comfort and safety in the water as his top priority.

Stacy Lieser
Divemaster & Captain

Stacy moved from Minnesota to the North Shore of Oahu in 2005 and earned her PADI Divemaster certification and also received a Bachelors Degree in Communications at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Marine conservation is something that has always played an important role in her lifestyle whether it be in the water or out of the water. She enjoys being able to educate on shark conservation and its importance to our eco system, all while getting to share the incredible experience of being in the open water with one of the most prestigious and oldest marine species known to man kind.

Traveling the world is another passion of Stacy’s and she enjoys the destinations that are usually water and dive inspired. Some of her travel adventures have included the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, India, Tahiti, Vietnam, and recently added diving with blue whales in Sri Lanka to the list.
